Fortastra builds compact, autonomous spacecraft that protect high-value assets in orbit. It's vehicles can close on a satellite, inspect what happened, escort a threat, and respond when distance isn't enough. Open-architecture autonomy lets them sense, maneuver, and coordinate when human operators can't stay in the loop. Founded in 2025, the company has flown two demonstration missions, most recently on SpaceX's Transporter-18.

Fortastra provides the security layer for assets in orbit. As the infrastructure the global economy runs on moves to space, it needs protection that can cover entire orbits, something a handful of exquisite defense satellites can't do. Fortastra builds that protection as Infrastructure: low-cost, proliferated spacecraft that take situational awareness a step further, from seeing a threat to inspecting, escorting, and responding to it.
